Insert the PC card into the PC card slot with the SONY logo facing
up. See “Using PC Cards” on page 35 for details.
To insert a CD-ROM

Push the Open button in the direction of the arrow to open the
CD-ROM drive lid.

A protective cover is attached to the lens of the CD-ROM drive at the factory. Before using the
CD-ROM drive, remove the protective cover.
