Make sure that your Content Server is on the same domain as the NAS
•
Remote desktop into your NAS
•
Set up a share with a folder inside it.
•
Set permissions and security settings
on the share to allow the Content Server
full control over the share:
Right-click on the share and select

Sharing and Security...
Click on

Permissions

Add
Click

Object Types.
Select the Checkbox for Type – Computers.
Enter <Content Server Server Name> (as registered in the domain). If you have not set a new server name through
the Windows Administration site, the default Content Server name is TANDBERG-####.
Click on Check Names and click OK.
Give User <Content Server Server Name> full control over the share.
Click on the Security tab.
Repeat steps 2–4 to give the Content Server full control of the folder under
the Security Settings tab.
Click Set permissions and security settings on the share to allow the domain
account performing the move full control over the share.
Repeat steps 2–5, but without checking Computers as the Object Type.
