8.2.3 SFI channel
Your receiver is equipped to receive a data channel with addi-
tional SFI data via the ASTRA satellite Systems (19° East).
These allow an SFI preview up to one week ahead.
> Press OK to call up the sub-menu SFI channel (Fig.
8-9).
> To receive the data channel, mark the line SFI upda-
te.
> Press OK to select On.
> In the line Update time use the numeric keys to
set the time at which the automatic download of SFI
data is to be carried out.
> To start the download of updated SFI data manually,
press the red function key Start now.
If you do not wish to reeceive the additional data, or if you
cannot receive it because of your location, you can switch off
the data receiving function:
> Switch the item SFI update to off, to disable the
data reception. Only the programme information provi-
ded by the programme providers themselves will now
be available.
If the parameters of the data channel for downloading of the
SFI data should be altered, you can correct them in this
menu. The current transponder data can be obtained from
specialist retailers.In the normal course of events you would
not make any changes to this menu.
8.3 Parental control
Your unit is equipped with an access control function. This
allows you to block key functions (e.g. calling up the main
menu) from unauthorized access. In addition, programmes
and recordings that you have blocked can only be accessed
by means of a four-digit PIN code (unit PIN).
To configure the menu Parental control proceed as fol-
lows:
> Press Menu to display the Main Menu.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to mark the line
Settings.
> Confirm by pressing OK.
The sub-menu Settings will be displayed.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to mark the line
Parental control.
> Confirm by pressing OK.
