Copying on an envelope
The copied envelope exits into the inner tray regardless of the finisher (option).

Pick up about 5 envelopes, fan the enve-
lopes well and align the edges.

Place the envelopes on a flat clean sur-
face and press them with your hands in
the direction of the arrow to expel any air.
• Correct any bent corners on the envelopes.
• Press them well to prevent the flap from rolling upward.

Place the envelopes on the bypass tray
and align the guide to the envelope size.
• Place the envelope with the side to be copied face down and the
flap to be front.
Do not copy on the back of the envelope. This may cause a
paper jam or soil the copied paper or the inside of the
equipment.
