Setting the Notification
You can set the notification mail to send a notification message when specified events occur on
this equipment such as toner empty, paper empty, serviceman call, and so on.
You can specify up to 3 E-mail addresses for the destination of the notification message.
y You can specify the events that you want to be notified using the TopAccess web utility. For
instructions on how to specify the events for the notification, please refer to TopAccess
Guide.
y To enable this function, there must be a SMTP server in your network. In addition, the set-
tings to enable the Internet Fax transmission on this equipment must be configured correctly.

Press the [GENERAL] button in the ADMIN menu.
y The GENERAL menu is displayed.

Press the [NOTIFICATION] button.
y The NOTIFICATION screen is displayed.
