MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Be sure to turn off the
power before you perform any
maintenance on the monitor.
WARNING: To avoid risk of electric
shock, do not disassemble the
monitor cabinet. Users cannot
service the monitor. User
maintenance is restricted to
cleaning as explained below.
CLEANING THE MONITOR
Unplug the monitor from the power outlet
before cleaning.
• To clean the fl at panel display screen,
lightly dampen a soft, clean cloth with
water or mild detergent. If possible, use
a special screen cleaning tissue or solu-
tion suitable for the display.
• Isopropyl alcohol may also be used to
clean fi ngerprints or smudges on the
face of the monitor. First apply the alco-
hol to the soft lint-free cloth before wip-
ing the monitor. Do not apply the alcohol
directly on the monitor.
