3.7 The Site Survey Screen
This screen allows you to view available networks and connect to a network.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Noise Level This indicates the relative interfence from other nearby wireless devices as a
percentage. The higher the percentage, the greater the interference.
HT Info This section displays wireless technical data, such Bandwidth (BW) frequency,
Guard Interval (GI), and Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS). It is not user
configurable and is only used for customer service troubleshooting.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
This indicates a connection to the associated AP.
SSID This displays the network’s Service Set IDentifier. The SSID is the name of the
network.
BSSID This displays the Basic Service Set IDentifier. The BSSID is the MAC (Media
Access Control) address of the access point or peer wireless device. Every
networking device has a unique MAC address, which identifies it on the network.
Signal This displays the received radio signal strength of the network. The higher the
value, the better the connection.
