Removing the RTC
1.
Use a plastic flat bladed screw driver to remove the RTC battery from its socket
NOTE:
To replace the RTC battery, press the RTC battery into the socket.
Separating the Lower Case from the Upper Case
1.
Disconnect the touchpad cable from the mainboard.
2.
Release the six screws from the bottom of the main unit as shown below.
3.
Remove the upper case backward.
