9.1 Introduction
9.1.1 General information
The PPC-S123's optional touchscreen incorporates advanced
second-generation 8-wire resistive, impact-resistant technology. It
allows 75% light transmission. The resistive model has an antiglare
surface. This model provides greatly enhanced visual resolution. It
also has new improved scratch-resistant features.
The touchscreen is manufactured from UL-recognized components.
Its fire resistance meets the UL-746C, 19 mm (0.75") flame test stan-
dard. Systems incorporating the touchscreen, controllers, and cables
have been approved to FCC Class A and Class B standards.
