[SOURce] The System Instrument contains a Pacer which produces TTL level pulses. The
SOURCE command subsystem controls the number and period of these pulses.
The output of the Pacer is available at the rear-panel BNC connector labeled
“Pacer Out”.
Subsystem Syntax [SOURce]
:PULSe
:COUNt < count>
:COUNt? [MIN | MAX]
:PERiod < period>
:PERiod? [MIN | MAX]
:PULSe:COUNt SOURce:PULSe:COUNt < count> sets the number of Pacer pulses that are
generated when the trigger condition is satisfied.

Comments When count is set to INFinity or 9.9E37, pulses are continuous.

The current count if no parameter is sent.
The maximum allowable count if MAX is sent.
The minimum allowable count if MIN is sent.
Example Querying the pulse count.
SOUR:PULS:COUN 1E3 output 1000 Pacer pulses
SOUR:PULS:COUN? query system for pulse count
