4Check that the disk named in the box is the one on which you want to install CD-ROM
software.
If not, click the Switch Disk button until the correct disk name appears.
5 In the Installer dialog box, click Customize.
You see a list of items you can install.
6Hold down the Shift key and click to select “CD-ROM System Software” and “QuickTime
Software.”
7Click Install.
The CD-ROM and QuickTime software are automatically installed and placed
in the System Folder on your hard disk.
8When you see a message reporting that installation was successful, click Restart.
Your CD-ROM drive will now operate normally. (If a message reports that
installation was not successful, follow the instructions on the screen to try
installing again.)
