Setting Community Strings
Community strings define access rights for reading and writing SNMP
data objects for a device.
The community strings (read and write) for an AsantéHub 1016-IQ are
manually set in the AsantéHub 1016-IQ via its console port.
In order to access the AsantéHub 1016-IQ with IntraSpection, the com-
munity strings must be set in IntraSpection to match those set in the
AsantéHub 1016-IQ.
▲ Important: It is recommended that you set the commu-
nity strings for an AsantéHub 1016-IQ in IntraSpection
