SteelVine Manager main screen
Using SteelVine Manager
To use SteelVine Manager to create a disk array set
1. In the SteelVine Manager main screen, select the drives connected to
the SATA_E12 or SATA_E34 ports, and click
Congure box
. The
Basic
Conguration Wizard
appears.
2. Choose a drive mode to congure
from
Storage Policy
, and click
Apply
. The system takes about
10 seconds for the change to take
effect.
3. Restart the computer.
• It is recommended using two new hard disks for this setup.
• All original data of the hard disks connected to the SATA_E2 (white, port 1)
and SATA_E4 (white, port 3) connectors on the motherboard will be erased
for the EZ Backup setup. Make necessary backup before the setup.
• All original data of the two / four hard disks will be erased for the Super
Speed setup. Make necessary backup before the setup.
