2.6 Cable connections
Pre-connected system cables
1. PWR1/2 power connector (from power supply to motherboard)
2. 8-pin BPPWR1 power connector (from power supply to motherboard)
3. 8-pin VGAPWR1/2 power connector (from power supply to motherboard)
4. System fan connectors (from motherboard FAN1-8 to system fans)
5. TPM1 connector (from motherboard to front I/O board)
6. USB internal Type-A connector
7. Auxiliary panel connector (from motherboard to front I/O board)
8. Panel connector (from motherboard to front I/O board)
9. USB connector (from motherboard to front I/O board)
10. SATA5 connector (from motherboard to SATAII/SAS backplane board to connect ODD)
11. ISATA1 connector (from motherboard to SATAII/SAS backplane board to
connect HDD 5 - HDD 8)
12. ISAS1 connectors (from motherboard to SATAII/SAS backplane board to
connect HDD 1 - HDD 4)
13. PSAS1/2 connectors (from motherboard to SATAII/SAS backplane board)
• The bundled system cables are pre-connected before shipment. You do
not need to disconnect these cables unless you will remove pre-installed
components to install additional devices.
• Refer to Chapter 4 for detailed information on the connectors.
