8.4.9 Sensor Operational Check (Function code 32)
Function
This function allows you to check whether the 9 sensors.
Operating Procedure
(1) MFC7420/7820N
Press the 3 and 2 keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
DCO7010/7020/7025
Press the
key or key several times to display the “MAINTENANCE 32” code on
the LCD. Then press the Set key .
The machine beeps 1100 Hz and 400 Hz tones cyclically through the following volumes
for testing the speaker. To stop beeping, press the Menu/Set (Set) key.
If the sensing status are as listed below, the LCD will show the following:
"DFDRCV" and "NTMNRSTNKOFU" (which can be switched by pressing the Start
key for machines.)
Given below is the relationship between the LCD indication, sensor names and sensor
status.
