Removal Sequence
Removing the CD or DVD Drive
To remove the CD or DVD Drive, complete the
following steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly.
2. Remove the Palmrest Cover with TouchPad.
3. Remove the keyboard.
4. Remove the Heatspreader.
5. Turn the unit over and remove two screws
from the base enclosure which secure the CD
or DVD drive to the chassis.
