PPD files and DIRLIST file
If you are using application software from Adobe Systems Inc., you
may need to install the
“????????.PPD” file. Copy the
“????????.PPD” file to the subdirectory specified by the application
software.
Use the specified PPD file in the subdirectory of the Printer Drivers
(MS-DOS
TM
Format) Disk 1, because the PPD file is prepared for
each printer. Read the DIRLIST file in the root directory of the disk
to see the subdirectory that includes the PPD file for your printer. If
you cannot find your printer’s name in the DIRLIST, use the PPD
file in the root directory of the disk.
