developed Epson UltraChrome K3 ink technology
and accompanied it with advanced archival paper

Epson ink and media: a perfect match
Our Epson UltraChrome K3 inks feature our
patented Microcrystal Encapsulation
™
technology,
which encapsulates each ink pigment crystal in a
resin polymer. The resin enhances durability by
pulling the pigment deeper into media crevices,
rather than resting on top of the surface. Plus,
it provides an extra sealant coating on the surface,
which resists scratching. The resin coating also
protects the color pigment particles from the ravages
of light, water, ozone, and other environmental
factors that can cause colors to fade.
When used with select Epson Professional Media, this
unique combination delivers highly stable, durable
prints with lightfastness ratings of more than 100
years.

dent the roll. Better to store rolls standing

store sheet media flat to prevent bowing.
