Move the printer.
Notes on Transporting
Make the following preparations in advance before
transporting the printer.
O Turn off the printer and remove all cables.
O Remove any paper.
O Remove any optional components if they are
installed.
To remove the optional components, see the Setup
guide included with each of them, and then reverse
the attachment procedure.
Furthermore, repack it using the original box and
packing materials to protect it from shock and
vibration.

Important:
Use the casters on the dedicated printer
stand only to move the printer indoors a
short distance over a level floor. They can
not be used for transport.

Important:
When removing the Multifunction Scanner and
stand, first attach the metal fittings and
scratch-prevention sheet shown in the following
illustration to the stand. After attaching the metal
fittings, remove the Multifunction Scanner from
the stand. If the order is incorrect, the stand will
be damaged.
