Batteries
V CAUTION!
● Incorrect replacement of batteries may result in a risk of explosion.
The batteries may only be replaced with identical batteries or with a
type recommended by the manufacturer (see Service Supplement).
● Do not throw batteries into the trash can. They can be returned free
of charge to the manufacturer, dealer or an authorized agent for
recycling or disposal.
● The battery must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations
concerning special waste.
● When replacing the lithium battery in the management blade, always
follow the instructions in the Service Supplement.
● When replacing the lithium battery in the server blade, always follow
the instructions in the technical manual.
● All batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol (a
crossed-out garbage can). They are also marked with the chemical
symbol for the heavy metal that causes them to be categorized as
containing pollutants:
Cd Cadmium
Hg Mercury
Pb Lead
