Counter Functions
Batch counter (Left) button
is pressed for at
least one sec-
ond.
The number of scanned documents from the
start of reading until "Paper empty" or an error
is detected. The counter is automatically reset
at the start of reading. This counter can be
used for checking the number of scanned
documents per batch.
(Right)button
is pressed for at
least one sec-
ond.
This counter is increased by one per sheet.
The counter is not initialized until the power is
turned off. The counter can be used for
checking the number of scanned documents
per day.
Abrasion counter The abrasion counter counts the accumulated number of
scanned sheets. This counter is increased by one per sheet
scanned.
It is useful to check the cleaning cycle or the parts replacement
cycle. Refer to “Chapter7 OPERATOR PANEL MENUS of the
Opelator’s Guide” on page 155, included in “User Manual (CD-
ROM)” about how to reset this counter.
Life counter Keeps a cumulative count of the total number of scans made by
the scanner. This counter is increased by one per sheet and may
be used to estimate of the device’s remaining life. This counter
cannot be reset.
ATTENTION
The counter is not displayed when the value is 0.
