RJ-45 ports are MDI/MDIX supported
The RJ-45 modules are equipped with MDI/MDIX capability to eliminate the use of
cross-over cable. The Auto-MDIX capability allow the Magnum 6K25e to cascade any
Hub, switches or media converters with normal straight cable.
SFP Gigabit module being supported on Slot D
Due to design constrains, Slot D will be populated With either Dual SFP Giga or Dual
RJ-45 Gigabit, or combo of both. No GBIC module will be supported on Slot D.
6k25e hardware are compatible with Rel. 3.7 or higher MNS-6K firmware
The 6K25e managed switch must be loaded with Rel 3.7 or higher Firmware, in order
to work efficiently. Any lower version might cause problem on hardware.
Maxm. 8 Gigabit ports can be populated on 6K25e managed switch
The modular Gigabit fiber switch can be populated with maxm. Gigabit ports, where
Slot D must have either Dual SFP OR Dual copper or COMBO of the one each..
