This printer has several connectivity

Purchase a Universal Serial Bus (USB)
2.0 full speed compliant cable. Use with
Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, and/or
Macintosh computer systems.
network
Both the Windows and Macintosh
platforms offer a number of ways to
connect the printer to a network.
Windows
wireless connection
Use an HP Jetdirect 380x wireless
external print server to make the printer
available on a wireless network (see the
print server documentation for
instructions).
wired network connection
Use the printer’s built-in ethernet feature
to connect the printer to an ethernet
network (see “built-in ethernet” on
page 9).
Macintosh
wireless connection
Use an HP Jetdirect 380x wireless
external print server to make the printer
available on a wireless network (see the
print server documentation for
instructions).
wired network connection
Use the printer’s built-in ethernet feature
to connect the printer to an ethernet
network (see “built-in ethernet” on
page 9).
Macintosh computers running Mac
OS 8.6 can connect to the printer
only through the printer’s USB port.
Only Macintosh computers running
Mac OS 9.04+ or Mac OS X
v10.1+ and that support TCP/IP
can communicate with the printer
via the built-in ethernet feature.
