If the copier/printer encounters a communication problem, do the following:
1 Verify that all cables are firmly attached to your copier/printer and
your computer.
2 Press Cancel to cancel the print job.
3 Resend your document.

If you have difficulties uninstalling or reinstalling the HP DIgital Copier
software, do the following:

The New Hardware
Wizard does not identify
the HP Digital Copier by
name, but displays
“Device Unknown”
Disregard the notice and continue the
installation.
• In the New Hardware Wizard select CD-
ROM, then Next to start the search for the
driver file hpf600p.inf.
• If the installation fails, locate and double-
click this file directly from the CD.
• If none of these steps work, follow the
procedure in uninstall and reinstall software
on page 12.
You have both an HP
CP1160 (DeskJet) and an
HP Digital Copier
installed on your
computer, and you cannot
remove one of the
printers.
Follow the procedure in uninstall and reinstall
software on page 12, then reinstall only the
printer program you want to keep.
