3.7 Communications
3.7.1 USB Communications
The NetAXS-123 Controller Board provides a version 2.0 USB port that connects to the web browser
or to a WIN-PAK host. The following figure identifies the location of the port on the board.
Note: USB communication requires the USB A to MicroUSB B cable that is supplied with the panel.
You will need to install a USB driver to support the connection. Follow these steps:
Warning: Do NOT connect the USB cable to the panel until AFTER the drivers are installed.
1. Insert the NetAXS-123 Product CD into your Windows-based computer. The NetAXS-123
product menu opens in the web browser.
Note: If the product menu does not open automatically in your browser, right click on the Start button
and select
Explore. In the folder tree, find and click the CD drive that is reading the NetAXS-123
Product CD.
