6 IDE Controller
The cPB-4612 with IDE has an on-board IDE controller that provides two IDE channels for interfacing with
up to four IDE devices. The IDE controller is incorporated into the Intel 6300ESB, which supports ATA-
100. There is one 50-pin IDE connector on the cPB-4612 with IDE, which supports up to two IDE devices
(though there is only space on the board itself to mount one device). The secondary IDE channel is
available through the rear panel connector (J5).
