power cord is unplugged.
any message appears on the screen. If a message
appears, take the appropriate action as indicated
on pages 64 to 67. If no message appears, turn the
power off, unplug the cord and wait several
minutes. Then plug the cord back in and turn the
power on again.
paper jam may be due to:
•incompatibility of paper with ink cassette
•wrong paper orientation
•the printer set upright or tilted
remove paper as directed on page 69.
blank paper sheets have been properly shuffled. If
not, shuffle them thoroughly to separate each sheet
before placing them on the paper tray.
video cable is correctly connected.
input select switch of TV is set to VIDEO (EXT.IN).
input connector priority has been observed.
MEMORY mode has been entered. If so, press the
SOURCE button.
the power has been turned off. The stored image
disappears when the power is turned off. Store the
image in memory again.
colours are generally acceptable. The colours on the
TV screen may be somewhat different from those
actually printed, which is normal with this Printer.
you are making multiple prints of images recorded
in “SQUEEZE” or “CINEMA” mode.
In this mode,
•SQUEEZE mode is engaged. If so, the image is
stretched vertically.
•CINEMA mode is engaged. If so, black bars will
appear at the top and bottom of the image.
you have printed a playback image from a tape
recorded on another VCR. If so, the top zone of the
image may not be straight. This is normal with this
printer.
