Enabling Pseudo Interlace
The input interlace signal is displayed as it is without conversion, enabling images with a CRT-like texture to
be displayed.
Procedure
1. Choose “Screen” from the Adjustment menu, and press

2. Choose “HDMI Settings” from “Screen”, and press

3. Choose “Pseudo Interlace”, and press
.
4. Select “On” or “Off” with

to exit.
Attention
This function is enabled only during the 1080i signal input.
When “Pseudo Interlace” is in operation during the HDMI (HD) signal input, the screen size is “Dot by Dot” despite the
setting.
The following functions are disabled while the pseudo interlace is displayed.

Before the calibration is performed using SelfCalibration and ColorNavigator, set “Pseudo Interface” to “Off”.
Setting Safe Area
The “safe area” is an area in which images can be displayed on any display device. This function displays the
safe area to allow you to view the layout of the subtitles and menu windows without using any special software.
It enables the positions to be adjusted within the safe area during video editing.
Attention
The optimal safe area is displayed when the aspect ratio is 16:9 or 4:3.
Showing/hiding
Select whether or not to display the safe area.
Procedure
1. Choose “Screen” from the Adjustment menu, and press
