The default value is 100 ms.
• Aggregation Length. The default value is 65535 bytes.
• AMPDU (Aggregated-MAC Packet Data Unit). This is a feature in IEEE 802.11e and 802.11n
Wireless LAN Standard, which allows to build a group of frames before they are transmitted.
The default is Enabled
• RIFS (Reduced Inter-Frame Spacing) transmission. The default is Disabled.
• DTIM Interval. The Delivery Traffic Indication Message Interval specifies the data beacon
rate between 1 and 255.
The default value is 3.
• Preamble Type
. A long transmit preamble may provide a more reliable connection or slightly
longer range. A short transmit preamble gives better performance. The Auto setting will
automatically handle both long and short preamble.
The default setting is Auto.
To modify the Advanced Wireless Settings:
1. Select Wireless under the Configuration tab, then select Advanced from the side menu. The
Wireless Settings screen displays as shown in Figure 4-9.
