Command ATMping
Description Sends five OAM F5 loopback cells to the specified VPI/
VCI destination with a 5 second total timeout interval.
You can use ATMping to test the ATM connection.
Syntax atmping <vpi> <vci> <range>
Arguments vpi is the Virtual Path Identifier and vci is the Virtual
Channel Identifier of the ATM channel you want to test.
vpi values are integers (0...255).
vci values are integers (0...65535)
range values are segment and end-to-end depend-
ing whether you want to test the first segment of the
ATM connection or the end-to-end connection.
Example
MW1122> atm ping 0 23 segment
reply asserted roundtrip time = 4.20 ms

The debug commands are used to solve difficult problem situations.
The debugging can be switched off with the following command.
Other debugging commands are not handled in this manual.
Command Switch off debug
Description Switches all debug operations off. To quit debugging,
write no debug all on the screen regardless of what is
being printed on the screen.
Syntax no debug all
Arguments no switches debugging off.
