Power Saving sets how long the printer waits before going into standby mode. In
standby mode your printer’s energy consumption is reduced. You can specify the length
of time before a printer enters power saving mode by setting a larger value.

1. Press the up or down arrow button until System Configuration Menu appears.
Press the Enter button.
2. Press the up or down arrow button until Power Save Time appears. Press the
Enter button.
3. Press the up or down arrow button until the desired setting appears. Press the
Enter button.
An asterisk (*) will appear to confirm the selection.
4. Press Online.

1. Press the up or down arrow button until Maintenance Menu appears. Press the
Enter button.
2. Press the up or down arrow button until Power Save appears. Press the Enter
button.
3. Press the up or down arrow button until Disable appears. Press the Enter
button.
An asterisk (*) will appear to confirm the selection.
4. Press Online.
Note
The printer’s Power Save mode default setting is Enabled, 1 minute.
