Using the tuning function
You can use the recorder’s chromatic tuning function
to tune musical instruments. The difference between
the reference tone and the input sound is measured
and displayed on screen.

Switch the Mode dial to the [

]
position.

• The name of the note closest to the
recognized sound appears.
• Press the F1 ( DISPLAY ) button to switch the
type of visualization between the waveform
type and the meter type.
• Waveform type is useful for the practice of
wind instruments because it shows the tone
interval visually.
