Shorthand
The following functions can be assigned for handwriting input.
Text expansion Function Run program
Display words, phrases,
or sentences.
Display dates, names, or
other information.
Start up a program.
e.g.: Input “ABC” in
handwriting
to display
“Hello.”
e.g.: Input “DEF” in
handwriting to display
the date and time.
e.g.: Input “GHI” in
handwriting to start up
[Command Prompt].
A Tap [Settings] to the right of “Shorthand.”
B Tap [Add].
C Select the function that you want to assign, and then tap [Next].
D Register shorthand.

Input “ABC” in handwrit-
ing on the screen.
Input “DEF” in handwrit-
ing on the screen.
Input “GHI” in handwrit-
ing on the screen.
The handwriting input will be displayed in the [Shorthand] box.
E Register a function.
Text expansion Function Run program
Tap the [Text expansion]
box, and then input
“Hello” in handwriting on
the screen.
“Hello” will be displayed
in the [Text expansion]
box.
Tap in the [Function]
box, and a list will
appear; select [date and
time].
Tap in the [Run pro-
gram] box, and a list will
appear; select [Com-
mand Prompt].
