Prompts you in a line-by-line fashion to change system configuration settings.
Table B-1 2 describes the system configuration fields. For each parameter, enter a
new value or press the Enter key to accept the current value shown in brackets.
Notes The two components of security are user authentication and fabric security. The
user must be authenticated before gaining access to a switch. If an invalid
account name/password combination is entered, that user can not access the
switch, and thus can not gain access to the fabric. If security is enabled (True) and
TrapCommunity Trap community password that authorizes an SNMP agent to
receive traps. This is a write-only field. The value on the switch
and the SNMP management server must be the same. The
default is public.
AuthFailureTrap Specifies the IP address where a notification is sent in the
event of an authentication failure.

Entry Description
Eth0NetworkAddress Internet Protocol (IP) address for the Ethernet port.
Eth0NetworkMask Subnet mask address for the Ethernet port.
Eth0GatewayAddress IP address gateway.
Eth0NetworkDiscovery Boot Method (1 - Static, 2 - Bootp, 3 - DHCP, 4 - RARP)
AdminTimeout Specifies the amount of time in minutes the switch waits
before terminating an idle Admin session. Zero (0)
disables the time out threshold. The default is 30, the
maximum is 1440.
SecurityEnabled Enables or disables the enforcement of account names
and passwords.
LocalLogEnabled Enables or disables the saving of log information on the
switch.
RemoteLogEnabled Whether remote logging of is enabled or disabled. If
enabled, log information is saved to a remote host that
supports the syslog protocol.
RemoteLogHostIP
Address
The IP address of the host that will receive the remote
log information if remote logging is enabled.
