Scanners Tab
The Scanners tab lets you:
• Add a new scanner with Scanner Expansion.
• Examine and/or change scanner properties.
• Delete an existing scanner.
• Automatically detect Sharp scanners connected to the network.
• Use Web Setup pages of a Sharp multifunction scanner to change configuration values.
• Enable/disable a scanner (by checking its checkbox).

Adding a New Scanner
To add a new scanner, click the New button on the Scanners tab. The Scanner Properties screen
displays allowing you to add a scanner. If you select a scanner that was automatically detected by
the Network Scanner Tool, then an IP address displays in the Scanner Properties screen. If you
want to add a scanner that was not automatically detected, you will have to manually enter the
correct IP address or Host Name (DNS or WINS).
