100 3F: Troubleshooting Tips (Notebook PC)
Error: Connection Seems Slow
When you have a both a PCS Connection Card and an AirCard 300 in
your computer, the data connection seems quite slow.
Error: Connection Gets Dropped (Windows 2000 and XP)
When attempting a data connection with PCS Connection Manager, the
connection gets dropped as soon as it is established (the status goes from
“Authenticating” and “Authenticated” back to “Ready to Connect”)
.
Possible Causes Suggestions
Under some operating systems, if both cards are
inserted, then the path that the Internet Protocol
(IP) traffic will take is not predictable. If the data
gets routed through the AirCard 300, you will
experience slower data transfer rates.
Before you use the PCS Connection
Card, eject the AirCard 300 from
your computer.
