7. OPERATION
7.1 Precautions in handling the media
Take the following precautions in order to maintain the reliability of data
when handing the media.
T Hold the disc between the center
hole and the outer edge of the disc.
Do not touch the surface of the me-
dia.
T Do not drop or stack the discs on top of
each other. Do not place anything heavy
on the disc or give a strong shock to it.
When an excessive force is applied to the
media, the reliability of data may not be
maintained.
T If the recording surface of the me-
dia is marred, data write may be-
come impossible. Do not touch the
recording surface of the media.
