7.7 Suspend/resume
T This drive conforms to the OS-based suspend/resume, however,
it may not operate properly depending on your PC environment. In
such a case, do not use the suspend (standby/sleep mode/hiber-
nation) function with the drive connected to your computer.
T Avoid using the suspend function while the drive is in operation.
T Do not connect or disconnect the drive while the computer is in
the suspend mode.
8. DAILY MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the drive
Wipe off soil on the drive using a soft cloth. If soil is persistent, use a
cloth dampened with a diluted neutral detergent after squeezing all the
water out.
If liquid is allowed into the drive, it may cause a serious malfunction, an
electric shock or a fire. When cleaning with liquid, be sure to remove
the provided AC adapter from the wall outlet after disconnecting the
drive from your computer.
Do not apply solvents such as benzene or thinner. Chemical cleaners
for home or industrial use may damage the coating of the drive.
