Additional configuration Some additional configuration may be needed:
• Wireless Settings
When running the SpeedTouch™ Setup wizard, the SpeedTouch™ wireless
Access Point settings will be set to their default values. You might need to re-asso-
ciate your WLAN clients, using the factory defaults WLAN settings as specified in
“4.1 First-time Wireless Client Association” on page 43.
For additional security of your wireless network it is recommend to “personalize”
your SpeedTouch™ wireless Access Point settings. See “4 Wireless Connectivity”
on page 41 for more information.
• Computer IP configuration
Most Service profiles will enable the SpeedTouch™ DHCP server. Therefore,
make sure that the computer’s Ethernet interface is configured for obtaining its IP
configuration dynamically (DHCP client).
Note For fixed IP configurations, or other advanced settings, please follow the
instructions provided by your Service Provider or network administrator.
