Chapter 6: APPENDIX
Remedy
Confirm that sound source equipment, amplifier, and speaker are
correctly connected.
Confirm that audio input volume control is properly adjusted.
Confirm that the rear-mounted input level selection switch is set to
appropriate position.
Check audio activation control input for correct setting.
Refer to p. 3-23, Contact Setting, or p. 4-13, Contact Setting, for
control input activation.
Check to see if audio-related settings, such as sampling frequency
and compression, are correct.
Refer to p. 3-18, Broadcast Spec Setting, or p. 4-6, Broadcast
Spec Setting, for audio-related settings.
When hum noise is heard, unit's FG terminal may not be correctly
connected.
Check to see if it is correctly connected.
When short noises are heard or when audio output is lost, network
may be congested. Check log contents. If congestion is found,
consult with network management personnel.
Refer to p. 4-24, Stream Logs, to confirm log contents.
When broadcasts are heard mixed in multicast streaming, the same
multicast address may have been set for some broadcasts in
Broadcast Spec setting.
Avoid duplication of multicast address when performing settings
for system units.
When other malfunctions occur, Error indicator may light.
Since serious failure may have occurred when Error indicator
lights, check log. Refer to p. 4-21, Operation Log, to confirm log
contents.
Incorrect settings, or NX-100 or NX-100S failure may be the cause.
Refer to p. 5-15, Error Messages, for details.
Contact TOA dealer.
Symptom
Outputs no audio signal or
distorted signal.
Audio output is affected by noise
or lost.
Audio outputs are mixed.
Other malfunctions
Forgot password.
Error message is displayed during
operation using Operation program.
