uct meets the Energy Star Programme requirements.
The Energy Star Programme aims at the promotion of the development and wider usage of
office equipment including energy-efficient computers in order to address environmental issues
such as global warming. Manufacturers that participate in this Programme can attach the Energy
Star logo to products after confirming that they meet the energy saving standards of this Pro-
gramme. Also, these standards and logo are commonly used within the U.S. Environmental Pro-
tection Agency (EPA) and participating countries.
