Using Data Skip
Some frequencies carry un-modulatedsignals or data signals (such as
pager preamble signals or telefax signals). You can set the scanner to
continue scanning after a 3-second delay, when it encountersuch signals.
Press ( DATA) to turn Data Skip ON.
Note: Data Skip is not available for the AM band and is not active
during Priority scan. '
Note: You can turn Data Skip on or off at any time during scanning,
searching and during Auto Store.
