Using Signal Attenuation
When the ATT LED is on, the incomingsignal strength is attenuated
(reduced) by about 15 dB.This prevents unusuallystrong signals from
over-loading the scanner.
In the Scan Mode,you must individually program each channelyou want
to use the Signal Attenuation feature. You can use the Signal Attenuation
feature in the Manual, Search, or Scan Mode.
