Changing the Frequency Step
The frequency step is the minimumspace between frequencies in the
Manual or Search Mode.
Your scanner is pre-programmedwith a default frequency step for each of
its frequency bands. You can override the default frequency step to
search in larger or smaller incrementswhen searching, during Auto Store,
or when steppingthrough frequencies with ~, ~ or the Rotary
Tuner.
2. Press I SHIFT).
3. Press the desired step on the
numeric keypad.
Example: Press 150KHz I.
To return to the original frequency
step, press ~ twice.
