Before beginning this section, ensure you have the required information
from your ISP. (See “
Before you Install your Gateway” on page 21.)
Select Internet Settings from the main menu to display Connection to ISP
(Figure 41
). Choose an IP Allocation Mode from the drop down box.
Select an IP Allocation Mode from the following:
■ Static IP address (to be specified manually) see page 57
■ Dynamic IP address (automatically allocated) see page 58
■ PPPoE (used by DSL providers only) see page 59
■ PPTP (used by some European providers) see page 60
