Attach a connector to the port,
or ensure that there is a device
at the end of the connection.
Cable attached
to the port is
faulty.
1) Change the cable.
2) Perform wrap tests to
determine the failing
component.
3) Check the cable type.
Remote station
attached to the
port is either
turned OFF or
inoperational.
Check the remote station.
If the station is turned OFF, turn
ON the station. If the station is
inoperational, restart the
application that is running on it.
Maximum link
distance
exceeded.
