Troubleshooting
This chapter provides troubleshooting information for the MegaRAID
SCSI 320-0 controller. It contains the following sections:

7.1 General Troubleshooting
This section lists the general problems that can occur, along with
suggested solutions. Table 7.1 describes general problems you might
encounter, along with suggested solutions.

Problem Suggested Solution
The system hangs during the boot
process after installation.
Make sure the SCSI BIOS on the motherboard has been
disabled.
Make sure the MegaRAID SCSI 320-0 adapter card is
installed in the proper PCI expansion slot. It must be
installed in the RAID Upgrade PCI slot.
Some operating systems do not load in
a computer with a MegaRAID SCSI
320-0 adapter.
Check the system BIOS configuration for PCI interrupt
assignments. Make sure some Interrupts are assigned for
PCI.
Initialize the logical drive before installing the operating
system.
