Storing Items in NOOK Cloud™
To save storage space on your NOOK, you can move items from your device to NOOK Cloud, the cloud-based
storage service included in your NOOK account.
NOTE: You cannot move item that you have sideloaded (transferred from your personal computer) to NOOK
Cloud.
Opening Items in the Library
To open any item in the Library, tap on its cover.
Organizing Library Content on Shelves
You can group Library items on shelves to make them easier to find.
Creating a Shelf
To create a Shelf in the Library, do this:
1. Tap the Content icon (a stack of horizontal lines) in the System Bar at the bottom of the Library.
A pop-up window opens.
2. Tap the Create New Shelf menu choice.
A dialog box opens along with a keyboard.
3. Type the name of the new shelf and tap Save.
Your NOOK closes the dialog box and creates the shelf.
Managing the Contents of a Shelf
Once you have created a shelf, you can add books, magazines, and other items to it.
To add items to a shelf, do this:
1. In the Library, scroll through your content until you find My Shelves. Tap on the category title My Shelves.
Your NOOK lists the shelves you have created.
2. Tap the Edit button next to the shelf you want to edit.
Your NOOK opens a window listing the contents of your Library.
3. Tap the checkbox next to each item you want to add to the shelf.
4. When you have finished selecting items for the shelf, tap the Save button.
Your NOOK closes the window and adds the items to the shelf.
Renaming a Shelf
To rename a shelf, do this:
1. In the Library, scroll through your content until you find My Shelves. Tap on the category title My Shelves.
Your NOOK lists the shelves you have created.
2. Tap the Edit button next to the shelf you want to rename.
Your NOOK opens a window listing the contents of your Library.
