Precautions Chapter 2
CAUTION
Precautions for handling toner:
➜
Be careful not to spill toner inside the printer or get toner on your clothes or
hands.
➜
If your hands become soiled with toner, immediately wash them with soap and
water.
➜
If toner gets in your eyes, immediately flush them with water, and then seek
professional medical advice.
Storage of prints
✚
Prints that are to be kept for a long time should be kept where they are not
exposed to light in order to prevent them from fading.
-
Adhesive that contains solvent (e.g., spray glue) may dissolve the toner on
prints.
-
Color prints have a thicker layer of toner than normal black-and-white prints.
Therefore, when a color print is folded, the toner at the fold may peel off.
