3.6 Turning the Printer Controller On and Off
To turn on the printer controller

Set the power switch to “1”.
After the printer controller is turned on, the
controller is initialized. After the controller has
finished warming up, the Ready light lights up in
green and “Info XXXX” appears in the display.
However, a print operation is not performed until
the printer has finished warming up (after about 5
minutes at normal room temperature (68 °F/20
°C)).
To turn off the printer controller

Note
If the printer controller is turned off in a manner other than described in “To turn
off the printer controller”, the controller may be damaged.

Check that “Info XXXX” appears in the
display, and then press the [Menu] key in the
printer panel.
